Torch Future ("we," "our," or "us"), as known as Lingxi Li as an individual, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users' personal information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our product, Cockpit.

  • We keep your data anonymous and secure, including your conversation histories which you can refer back to whenever you need them.
  • Your login information, including passwords, third-party sessions, and emails, is never stored. Instead, we rely on a secure third-party authentication provider called Clerk to keep your information safe and encrypted.
  • We only store your conversation data anonymously and use it to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI model. We will never use it for commercial purposes or share it with any third-party organizations or individuals.
  • We store failed login attempts to protect against hacking attempts and ensure the security of your account. However, this information cannot identify you without an active login session.
  • We will never use your data to identify you or show you personalized ads. Your privacy is important to us, and we will never share your email or phone number with anyone else.

1. Anonymous and Secure Data Storage

We store user data anonymously and securely, including user conversation histories, which can be used for future reference. We take all necessary steps to ensure the security and integrity of user data, including encryption and secure storage. User data is stored in secure data centers that are compliant with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

2. No Storage of User Credentials

We do not store any user credentials, including passwords, third-party sessions, or emails. Instead, we rely on a third-party authentication provider called Clerk that offers secure encryption over credentials and all sessions. Clerk takes all necessary measures to ensure the privacy and security of user data. Clerk encrypts user credentials and uses secure protocols to ensure they are safe and secure.

3. Storage of Conversation Data

We store conversation data in a secure and safe location, using best practices to protect it from unauthorized access. We store conversation data for features such as conversation histories and resume conversations, which allow our users to refer back to past conversations. To maintain our users' privacy, we request that no personal data is included within conversations, including but not limited to sensitive information, secrets, or data that can be used to identify users. We ensure that conversation data is anonymous, and no identifiable data is present, so it cannot be used to identify any user. While we do not currently use encryption for conversation data, we are actively exploring additional measures to enhance data security.

4. Usage of Conversation History for Model Training

Conversation history may be used for future model training purposes. We ensure that it is never used for commercial purposes, including sale, lease, advertisement, or blackmail. We will never disclose user data to any other organizations or individuals for any commercial purposes. We only use user conversation data to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI model. We use strict access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to user conversation data.

5. Storage of Failed Attempt Data

We store failed attempts of some actions to avoid brute force decryption. This information can be used to identify signed-in users, but it cannot be used to identify any user without a login session. We use this information to protect our users from unauthorized access to their accounts. We store this information securely and only for a limited period to prevent any potential misuse.

6. No Personalized Ads

We will never use user data to identify users or give them personalized ads. We do not use any advertising platforms or tracking technologies to collect user data for marketing purposes. We respect user privacy and do not engage in any practices that compromise it.

7. Protection of Contact Information

We will never use or distribute user email addresses (or phone numbers) to any third-party. We will never sell them for money or leak them on purpose. We are committed to keeping user contact information private and secure.
